The GRI Child Proof Pool Alarm can be operated by a 9-volt battery or an externally supplied DC source. Both units will operate at any voltage of 5-15 volts maximum. 12 volts is recommended to prevent sounder volume from dropping below minimum sound pressure levels of 85dB at 10’.
