TECHWIN introduces the SHC-740 low-light
level surveillance camera, which is designed
to provide the unmatched high quality and
performance in security.
SHC-740 is a product of an optimum combination
of 1/2" Ex-view HAD CCD and Samsung SVIII
DSP chip that opened a new chapter in the
low-light level technology, and its high
resolution image surveillance function enables
the user to identify objects clearly even
in the dark. It provides the best quality
and
performance in those areas which require
a high degree of night-time surveillance
such as airports, harbors, roads, large
scale industrial sites and military establishments,
e.g, a truce line.
xcellent Color Super Lowlight
The new SHC-740 has a built-in 1/2" Ex-view
HAD CCD and also employs the Samsung SVIII
DSP chip resulting in a super low-light
level of 0.08Lux in normal color mode and
0.0006Lux@F1.2 in Sens-up
mode. Therefore, objects can be clearly
identified even in darkness.
Clear Image without Noise
SVIII chip employs SSNR to provide a clear
image by blocking video noise and preventing
dragging and stretching of image which is
normally hard to avoid in low-light level
surveillance. This makes easier
the identification of vehicle registration
number and objects and also reduces up to
70% the DVR capacity.
Superb High Resolution of 530TV Lines
By combining Samsung's experience in advanced
optical technology, 1/2" Ex-view HAD CCD
and SVIII DSP chip, horizontal resolution
has been achieved higher than 530TV lines
resulting in clearer image
quality and more accurate color presentation
compared to performance of present surveillance
cameras. Its S/N ratio is over 50dB, which
also contributes to clearer image quality.

The
SDZ-330, a new powerful zoom camera incorporates
the famous SVIII, the latest version of the
SV (Super Vision) Series DSP system which is a real
breakthrough in the light-sensitive technology.
This SDZ-330 boasts the world's first and best 30X
optical auto focus zoom lens that ensures
ever precise and powerful close-up capability and
at the same time it achieves an outstanding trinity
that is an impressively enhanced low-light sensitivity
of 0.4 Lux @ F1.6 in normal color mode, a 126 times
wide dynamic range, and lastly sharper images with
530TV lines. It is simply and genuinely a perfect
answer in surveillance to a vast range of most demanding
locations.
Superior Low Light Performance of 0.4Lux@F1.6
in Color
Day/Night with ICR
The SDZ-330 camera achieves a minimum illumination
of an incredibly low 0.4Lux @ F1.6 in color and
an amazing 0.08Lux @ F1.6 in Sens-Up mode, which
ensures that the camera can recognize subjects even
in the extreme dark. It also has day and night (ICR)
capability, and gives colors even in significantly
low light conditions at full frame-rate when other
cameras already show B/W images.
126x Outstanding Wide Dynamic Range
The SVIII carries out an precise multiple histogram-only
for ultra-low-light imaging, but for wide dynamic
range applications. This realizes a 126 times extended
dynamic range which is equivalent to an
outstanding dynamic range of 52dB.
Super Clear Image of 520TVlines
The SDZ-330 achieves enhanced resolution of 520TV
lines with color sensor. The SVIII DSP implements
adaptive de-mosaic color reproduction algorithm,
and extracts more fine details from each pixel without
the typical aliasing effects, which is perfect for
low-light circumstances because it enables the camera
to 'see' clearly in the dark and even peer through
clouds or fog.
