The SpeedDome Ultra VI Advanced Programmable Dome Camera is a state-of-the-art programmable dome that incorporates all of the industry's cutting edge dome features. The dome's internal multi-protocol receiver enables the dome to be connected directly to a host of systems.

The camera's 23X optical zoom, combined with its 8X digital zoom, provides the power of 184X total zoom. And the sixth generation digital signal processing (DSP6) provides enhanced clarity, color and detail.

Privacy zones can be set up to prevent users from viewing sensitive areas. The direction indicators, which can be displayed on the monitor, denote the direction the dome is pointing, the direction in which it is moving, and the dome's azimuth (degree of tilt).

The dome supports up to 16 user-definable Areas. The dome's advanced alarm handling enables alarms to be processed internally by the dome, externally by the controller, or by both the dome and the controller. A "home position" feature allows users to establish a default view or pattern when no one is using it.

SpeedDome Ultra VI provides two "twist-lock" mounting base options. The standard base is the low-cost mounting base alternative; the I/O board base provides unsurpassed ease of installation, service, and maintenance. The SpeedDome Ultra Outdoor Housing is available to extend surveillance to outdoor environments.

Choose from several innovative mounting options, including hard ceiling and 2x2 tile, as well as wall and pendant mounts (for both indoor and outdoor applications). And because the dome contains all of the necessary install components, installation is a breeze - just 15 minutes from box to ceiling for the hard ceiling mount. The dome's power-on diagnostics and functional tests assist with fault isolation during install and service.

The dome accommodates a variety of protocols, including RS422, RS485, Manchester and SensorNet, making it compatible with virtually any controller, including third party controllers (with the use of Sensormatic's open protocol document).

The dome features a color camera with 16X optical zoom and 450+ TV lines resolution, providing a quality, high-resolution picture. The dome also provides user-programmable Presets and Patterns, and contains one alarm input and an auxiliary output.

SensorTrac is a state-of-the-art, mobile video surveillance system that provides optimum coverage for large facilities. The system incorporates all of the features you’ve come to rely upon in the industry-acclaimed SpeedDome Ultra V programmable dome, and adds the ability to move the dome along a track suspended from any type of ceiling.

Using any Sensormatic Controller (e.g., VM16, VM32 or VM96), users can reposition the dome’s location on the track, as well as take advantage of all the dome’s programmable features, such as Presets, Patterns and Sequences.

The SpeedDome Ultra V, with its 176X total zoom, 360 degree pan and 105 degree tilt, can be controlled manually or can be programmed to move to predetermined positions, enabling it to automatically patrol an entire area.

The dome is integrated into an extruded aluminum track and concealed behind a tinted cowling that extends the entire length of the track. This cowling protects the dome from dirt and moisture and conceals its location along the track so no one can see the dome’s location. Users can select the cowling style best suited for the application – light mirrored or dark mirrored.

SensorTrac’s flexible design allows for maximum coverage of your facility. Track sections fit together to create a track length of up to 150 meters (485 feet) in total, in 2.4 meter (8 foot) increments. To effectively provide coverage for even the most complex architectural requirements, the track easily accommodates multiple corners. SensorTrac’s programmable features, adaptable track sections, and its ability to maneuver the dome around corners, provide for unsurpassed surveillance coverage and ease of use.

The 370° pan and 90° tilt mechanism enables the internal camera and the eyeball to be manually positioned in any orientation. The friction bearings hold the camera in that fixed position, pointing at the desired camera view. The manual lens controls allow for zoom, iris and focus adjustments as necessary.

For maximum flexibility, the drone can accommodate both types of SpeedDome Ultra mounting bases – the standard (pigtail) mounting base and the I/O board mounting base. This means that the drones are interchangeable with SpeedDome Ultra without the need for any re-cabling. The interchangeability allows customers to install the drones at a facility and then replace them with programmable domes as budgets and/or needs change. In addition, customers can interchange the drones and the domes as surveillance requirements change.

The SpeedDome® Optima Fixed Drone Camera Housing provides Sensormatic customers with a low cost in-ceiling alternative to the conventional dome products.

The tilt table camera mounts are designed to accommodate most Sensormatic camera and lens combinations. It also provides a flat window option to the traditional bubble trim ring design. The top hat is quick and easy to install and can be used in a variety of indoor applications.

The SpeedDome Optima Fixed Drone Camera Housing has a plenum-rated back box which can be installed in a hard ceiling or standard 61 x 61 cm (2 x 2 ft ) suspended ceiling.

This lower cost, in-ceiling drone cosmetically matches our Optima dome and can be integrated in an existing Optima installation for overall aesthetic continuity.
