Intellex v3.0 is an intelligent digital video management system that combines multiplexing, alarm/event detection, audio, text, video recording and much more. Intellex will simultaneously display live video, playback video, audio and text, host multiple remote users, archive, search and more – all while recording multiple cameras.

After images and text are recorded, define the type of recorded events you want to find and Smart Search software instantly locates and replays them with digital precision. Or type in a text string and Intellex will instantly display the video and timesynchronized text data for review, all while still recording live events. Define motion based event criteria before recording, and IntelleCord software records only those events you want to see.

Intellex provides intelligence in search tools and management capabilities beyond many standard DVRs. With the addition of text and audio recording/playback, Intellex provides a productive investigation tool. And now with the ability to simultaneously view multiple angles of a single recorded event, Intellex provides an even more effective investigative tool. A variety of advanced, user-programmable features allow you to customize and manage video data.

Intellex is offered in Standard, Deluxe and Premier packages, and each package contains a preconfigured set of features. This means simplified packaging for easier ordering, maintenance and customer satisfaction.

And because Intellex is upgradable, networkable and easily integrates with other equipment, it’s a costeffective solution for many new and existing systems.

The Extended Storage Module (ESM) seamlessly expands the Intellex Digital Video Management System database an additional 320GB. This provides more storage than ever before. Using Intellex's efficient Active Content Compression (ACC), the expanded storage provides more than 700 hours of additional recording. The unit can be rack mounted, providing for a clean installation that requires very little space. With desktop or rack mounting options, the ESM's versatility eases installation and operation.

The high-speed interface allows the use of Intellex's intelligent search tools on all data, whether that data is held on the disks in the Intellex unit or in the Extended Storage Module. The location of the information is transparent to the user. Furthermore, when using the Network Client™ software with Intellex and the Extended Storage Module, users have access to all data for download and investigation.

Installation of the ESM is easily achieved in the field by plugging the ESM into the Intellex FireWire interface card. The unit is also designed for desktop installation such that the ESM sits on top of an Intellex unit. A monitor may be stacked on top of the ESM.

Network Client users can remotely set up the recording schedules, pre and post alarm video recording resolution, and recording events using IntelleCord®. Furthermore, remote users can search and retrieve video by time, date, camera, alarm, text strings and user defined events (based on motion detection). Network Client features multicamera playback from one or more Intellex units. When playing back recorded video, they have the option to listen to any recorded audio and view any recorded text for the same time frame.

Network Client progress status indicators confirms transfer time before download begins; once download is acknowledged, the video clip is streamed to the workstation for immediate review, keeping the original Intellex image intact. Video is saved in a proprietary file format that minimizes storage space and network bandwidth requirements. Furthermore, playback images are “unaltered” for purposes of evidence. Users can save the entire downloaded video file or only a selected clip in “incident folders” in their original format. Each video file or a segment from a file can be exported in its original proprietary format or in AVI format.

Network Client users can remotely generate an alarm as they discover an event worth marking. In addition, users can adjust network bandwidth for video (based on requirements for video transmission), and timesynchronize Intellex units and other Network Client workstations on the same network.

The Browser Client set up software runs on Windows® operating system with Microsoft’s Internet Information Server services. End users can access Browser Client on any computer that runs Internet Explorer and Windows operating system.
